If at any time within 5 years after Exterior Finishing installs siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, windows, or doors a problem arises that can be attributed to the quality of our installation or the product we installed, Exterior Finishing will correct the problem at no cost to the homeowner.
When calling Exterior Finishing for a warranty concern, please reference your invoice number and the year the installation was completed.
Exterior Finishing is an authorized dealer for nearly all of the products that we install. Whether you think the issue is a product or workmanship defect, call Exterior Finishing. We will send out a service technician to assess the issue and make a determination as to whether the defect or concern is attributable to our supplied products or workmanship.
If our workmanship is faulty, Exterior Finishing will pay all materials and labour needed to correct the issue. If the supplied product is deemed faulty under the manufacturer’s warranty, Exterior Finishing will replace it at no cost to you, labour included, whether or not the manufacturer’s warranty covers our labour. We feel better knowing that you have peace of mind.
As per standard manufacturer’s sealed unit warranties, spontaneous glass breakage is only covered for 1 year with labour charged at the customer’s expense.
This warranty will provide a full 5 years on both material and labour coverage due to spontaneous glass breakage. This additional coverage will be provided with the understanding by both parties that the breakage was not due to a workmanship fault.
This warranty excludes improper use or negligence, normal wear and tear, accident, acts of God, damage caused due to illegal activities, or periods of civil unrest, as determined by Exterior Finishing.
Exterior Finishing is not obligated to perform any work or address any concern not expressly stated on our contract agreement.
